Andy Schafer, 1991-1994 Campus Life student
Campus Life played an integral part of my life growing up. Weekly meetings, Mega meetings connected to other schools, and National youth gatherings in Washington DC were all a part of shaping my life throughout high school.
However, the largest impact came through generational accountability and leadership through the lives of various mentors connected to Campus Life. I got to hear success stories and struggles, from adults that went through the same stuff I was going through. We talked about real topics and were pushed to explore scripture.
This foundation formed in my life extended to life after high school where I continued to make decisions impacting my future and family. This model of relational ministry has stuck with me professionally as a teacher and football coach.
I’m excited to see Campus Life expand to Columbus Grove! The struggles of kids mentally, physical, spiritually, socially are real. Campus Life will help kids find one more way to connect and grow in faith.
