Ready to do life and share Christ –Stef Tropf, Findlay City Life

I officially began serving as the Findlay City Life Director as of September 2022!  Here is a bit about me.  I grew up in the small thumb town of Caro, Michigan, and after high school, received a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University in Outdoor Recreation.

After college, I spent time traveling, coaching, and serving at-risk youth in many different areas.  For the past seven years, I have lived in Goshen, Indiana, where I served as the executive director of a youth center, and worked with youth found in addiction, abuse, truancy, criminal anti-social behaviors and human trafficking situations.

While in Goshen, I met my husband Jon, and was married in June of 2019.  In December of 2021, we welcomed our first sweet baby boy, Nico Thomas, who has been the greatest blessing!

Recently, our family relocated to the Findlay area due to a job change for Jon as basketball coach.  This makes our family fans of the Ohio Northern University men’s basketball program!

My commitment to Christ is what drives me to serve and love others. I am excited about “doing life” with youth who come to the Findlay City Life Center by offering programs in a safe place that meets them where they’re at. We’ll spend intentional time in scripture together, hoping they find their identity in Jesus and share with their peers, too!
